Making Sure That Your Money Is Well Spent...

Websites - Rates & Plans

We have a couple of different options when it comes to designing your website. Depending on whether you will be adding a lot of content in the future or changing the layout of your pages, or just sticking with a simple, static, set amount of pages, we can offer you the best way to go about your build.

Self-Managed Plan

A lot of people may be intimidated by a self-managed website, but in truth it's much easier than you would think. When we say self-managed, we don't mean that you are responsible for the whole kit and kaboodle when it comes to the technical work. Rather, we install what is called a Content Management System (CMS) called Wordpress and then show you how to use it. You may be thinking to yourself "Hey I'm paying YOU to build me a website, why would I want this?" but there are certainly reasons why a CMS is the best way to go.

Let's say, for example, that you own a restaurant and you have a constantly-changing menu or (more likely) a daily special. By knowing how to use the Content Management System, you can make these changes yourself. Maybe your operating hours are seasonal or your About Us page features a person that no longer works for you. By knowing how to access the information through Wordpress, you can skip having to call us and skip getting billed for making such a simple change and therefore end up saving yourself hundreds if not thousands of dollars in the long run...

So What's The Downside?

Not much really, outside of having to take a 2-hour walkthrough with us to show you how to use the CMS. Because of that, the upfront cost of a self-managed plan is a little more expensive, but as explained above, in the long run it can save you a lot of money if you want to make changes to it in the future. If the idea of creating your own content for your customers, or having a measure of control over your own website sounds like the way to go, then we recommend the self-managed website package. Full Service Plan

If the idea of running your own website sounds a little daunting or too time-consuming, don't fret. We also offer plans where we do both the heavy lifting and any revisions after the fact. There are certainly some pros to going with a plan that requires us to fully manage the site for you...

Less Time, Less Bother

We get it, you have your hands full just running your business. Believe me, we have ours full as well! It really comes down to just how much your time is worth to you. If you can't be available to learn the ins and outs of content management, or if your time is better spent elsewhere, then we have no issue with making the changes you need. We're always here if you need us. We can provide you with very reasonable hourly rates to make sure that your money is making money for you.

Cheaper Out The Gate

A full service plan is less expensive in the short term for a few reasons:

  • No Training Necessary
  • Lighter, Easier Coding
  • Quicker Revisions
Because a fully managed website is built off of a wireframe instead of a CMS template, it takes a lot less time to code. That means it takes us less time to come to a final product that everyone can agree on. Once it is finished, changes can be made quickly if needed.

Priority Edits

Full Service isn't just a fancy name for a rate plan, it's our guarantee. When you sign on for a full service plan, you get your needs bumped to the top of the pile. All you have to do is submit a ticket through our support module and we'll get back to you within 24 hours with a response so we can figure out what you require and have an estimate over to you in no time flat.

That being said, here at Spring Hill Sites we will always highly recommend the self-managed plan over the full service plan for one very important reason: Authenticity. When you create your own content, and manage your own site, you tend to keep in touch with your customer base a lot better, and you come across as more involved and genuine. A full service plan is for people who need to have a website (and that means ALL of you) but don't want to waste time trying to take care of it. A business owner doesn't always have the time to dedicate to this kind of thing. That's why we offer...

Extended Plans

Our extended plans cover a lot of the different facets of running a website, and these can also be found on the main services page. In a nutshell, from marketing your website to setting up your network to handling customer purchases, we have everything you need available to make sure that the digital side of your business keeps running like a well-oiled machine. These extended plans also allow you to keep many of the free bonuses you get with the purchase of a website past the usual 1-year limit, for as long as the extended plans are in effect. We always love to keep a good relationship going, that's why we're still married after all!

So drop us a line and let us know what we can do for you. We'll work with your budget as best we can to give you the best opportunity for a successful venture into the web world.
